Don Ensign, Council President
My wife, Terri, and I have a son, Shawn (wife Jennifer), and a daughter, Jilenna. I retired from Inland Steel after 31 years and I am working at
Carmeuse North America at the present time. I was born in 1951 in
Valparaiso, IN, and attended Elementary School at Boone Grove. I
graduated from Hobart High School in 1969, was married in 1972, and
moved to Hebron in 1976. I have been involved in the community through
Scouting, I coached and served as President of Hebron Summer Baseball, I
have served as the President of Planning Commission, been a member of
the Parks Board, and the Board of Zoning Appeals.
I've also been on the Boone
Township Advisory Board, a Hebron School Board member, and am on Main
Street Committee.I am dedicated to the Main Street Projects,
restoring community pride and working together to move our town forward
with organized groups and committees. I believe in and will work to
restore economic health to our town by bringing businesses back to town
and gaining employment opportunities for Hebron. I will also continue
the rebuilding our infrastructure of streets, water, and sewer.
