The Hebron Town
Council is a five member council of town residents that are
elected every four years. All five members are voted on by all
of the town citizens regardless of where they live within the
town limits. The town is segmented into three separate Wards.
There is one Councilman voted to the Town Council from each Ward
and the remaining two can live in any of the three Wards. Each
member of the Hebron Town Council also sits on the various town
boards as liaisons in order to help direct information that is
vital to making recommendations to the entire Town Council. This
function of the council help facilitate the flow of information
in order to insure that all boards are working efficiently for
the betterment of the town and its residents. The goal of our Town Council is to
create an atmosphere where people can be proud to live, work,
shop and play in the Town of Hebron. This is our vision of the
future. We have embarked on some new projects to help revitalize
this community and prepare this town for the changes that we
will be facing in the next few years. By updating this web sight
and creating the Redevelopment Commission we hope to keep you
informed of the changes in our community and to help bring
businesses back to the Town of Hebron.
We will strive to be accessible to the community and include
them in our decisions to govern the Town of Hebron. This is why
we have adopted the slogan - A Community Working Together - as
the focus to turn Hebron into something that we all can be proud
of. Our meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of
each month at 7 p.m. at the Community Center, 611 N. Main
Street. Our Members
